The boats wait silently in a corner that used to be one of the main departure points for fishing boats. An evocation of the times when the shipyards, located near this location, were bustling with activity with the construction of llaguts, bous, teranyinesi and boats. A marine landscape that brings us closer to a genre that has been little talked about when we refer to the extensive artistic career of Joan Orihuel i Bartra (Barcelona, 1907 – Buenos Aires, 1992), remembered above all for being the post-war painter in Girona.
</oembed>
