The collection of Moss\u00e8n Valls"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Moss\u00e8n Pere Valls i Vil\u00e0 (Olot, 1848 \u2013 Barcelona, \u200b\u200b1925) gathered, throughout his life, a large and heterogeneous collection that ranged from illustrations of matchboxes to small reproductions of plaster reliefs, as well as quality artistic works in various formats, including one of the best art galleries in the Girona area, with works by Vayreda, Berga i Boix, Federico de Madrazo, Ramon Casas and Pere Mates. It is also worth noting an extensive collection of engravings and a library with works from the 16th to the 19th centuries, which includes unpublished manuscripts.
