Screen printing workshop for adults within the framework of the exhibition “Francisca Rius i Sanuy”
An opportunity to discover and experiment with the technique of screen printing, one of the most versatile and creative artistic disciplines.
During the workshop, participants will learn the printing process and will be able to create a personalized fabric bag with the designs of Francisca Rius i Sanuy.
Francisca Rius i Sanuy (Barcelona, 1891-1967) was an artist who stood out for her talent in ornamental design and the art of stylization, with a language located between modernism and art-déco , characterized by the delicacy of forms, color and decorative force. Unfortunately, the social and political context of her time truncated her professional career.
Each person will be able to print their own design and take home a unique piece, made with their own hands, that combines art, design and functionality.
