The exhibition was an opportunity to discover the figure, work and style of this outstanding landscape painter of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as his ties with the Girona region, and especially with Girona, the city where he resided for a short period of time. Some works in particular bear witness to that stay, but also a good part of the atmospheres of his landscapes and seascapes, which earned him recognition and popularity from critics and collectors during his lifetime. In the exhibition, the md’A exhibited works from the Funds of the Girona Provincial Council and the Bishopric of Girona.
