The Museum houses the most important art collection of the Diocese and the province of Girona, which outlines an itinerary of unique works of Catalan art. The visit allows you to contemplate, in chronological order, pictorial and sculptural works from successive periods and styles (Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Realism, Modernism and Noucentisme), with rooms dedicated to ceramics, glass and liturgical art.

Due to the roof works, some rooms will remain closed, but the altarpieces in the Throne Room can be seen like never before, with two touch screens that allow you to navigate through very high resolution images of each of the altarpieces, and with a mapping projection. which projects fragments of the altarpiece of Sant Pere de Púbol, by Bernat Martorell (1437), directly onto the rigid structure that covers it. A unique visual experience that allows you to see this masterpiece of Catalan Gothic in a completely new way.
