The Art Museum presents a small exhibition of a selection of the 14th century stained glass windows of the Girona Cathedral, currently kept in storage. These are true gems of medieval glasswork that filled the Cathedral with polychrome light over the centuries. For the first time in an exhibition and complemented by the Art Museum’s stained glass table, unique in the world, the preserved fragments allow visitors to learn more about the production technique and iconography of the period, as well as a first approach to the world of stained glass windows, which were very active in Girona, a city that was a true catalyst for innovations brought about by artists and craftsmen from northern Europe.
