This summer, we offer three family workshops to discover art in a different way: by touching, experimenting and creating. A good excuse to spend some time with your family and take home something made with your own hands.
COLOR WAVES – Tie-dye workshop
July 28 / August 6 / August 25
5 p.m.
We will start by visiting the marine works in the collection to choose the colors we like best. Then, in the workshop, we will learn the tie-dye technique and create our own uniquely colored t-shirt.
You must bring a white T-shirt from home.
ART ON THE BEACH – Textile painting workshop
July 7 / July 16 / August 11 / August 20
5 p.m.
In this workshop we will design and decorate our own fabric bag with strings, perfect for summer. We will be inspired by the most summery works in the Museum’s collection to create the decoration with textile markers.
LET’S EVOQUEM GIRONA! Painting workshop within the framework of the exhibition “Concha Ibáñez. The evocation of the landscape “

Concha Ibáñez did not paint in front of the landscape: first she looked at it, drew it, photographed it. Then, once home, she painted it from memory. The result was not a copy of reality, but something more personal: full of synthesis, color and emotion.
In this workshop we will do the same with Girona. We will visit the exhibition, go out to see the panoramic views of the city and, back in the workshop, we will create our own landscape in the Ibáñez style.
All activities cost €7 per child. The accompanying person (one person per child) enters for free. Places are limited and prior registration is required.
