Museu al Territori is one of the most beloved projects that we promote from the Museu d’Art de Girona. The project aims to reconnect local communities with the works of art from their surroundings preserved in the Museum , as well as strengthen the link between heritage and collective identity.
Last year, the project focused on the municipality of La Pera i Pedrinyà , where we conserved the Pedrinyà mural painting . This year we have worked with the residents of Cruïlles, Sant Sadurní de l’Heura and Monells , where notable works of art such as the Cruïlles beam or the Sant Miquel altarpiece come from.
