The Girona Art Museum presents the latest acquisitions for its permanent collection.
The landscape Girona. Tower and apse of Sant Pere Galligants , an oil on canvas measuring 70 x 89 cm, painted in 1915 by the artist Celso Lagar (Ciudad Rodrigo 1891- Seville 1966) during a stay in the city.
The late Gothic panel attributed to Ramon Solà II , a tempera and gold on wood measuring 100 x 69.5 cm, with the figure of Saint James the Apostle.
A portrait of the art critic Rafel Santos Torroella , sanguine on 63 x 47 cm paper, made by his sister, the painter Ángeles Santos (Portbou, 1911 – Madrid, 2013).
