Educational programme
The Girona Art Museum offers a wide range of educational activities adapted to different school levels, from workshops for the youngest pupils in early childhood education to activities designed for upper secondary students.
The educational programme is presented as a complement to the school curriculum, with the aim of bringing students closer to the world of art through a playful and educational approach. To this end, different types of visits to the Museum are offered: interactive visits, guided tours or workshops to explore traditional trades—such as stained glass artisans, apothecaries and engravers—and to experiment with pigments and the physical properties of colour.
Activities take place in the exhibition galleries and the Museum’s education workshop, but also outside the Museum, as in the case of visits to Girona Cathedral.
