The Busquets brothers and their work became key in the study of the second generation of noucentist artists in Catalonia and especially in Girona. Josep Maria, Lluís and Jaume, collaborators of the architect Rafael Masó, gave new impetus and value to works in applied arts, especially from the Galeria de Bells Oficis opened in Girona in 1918.
The recent donation of the Brothers Busquets i Mollera Fund, thanks to the generosity of Monsignor Joan Busquets i Dalmau, has been the pretext for the exhibition which, curated by Gloria Bosch and Susanna Portell, presents a selection of drawings, caricatures, typographic designs, notes and documentation and allows us to learn about the wide and varied artistic production of the three brothers.
